We have high expectations for our open to the public garden. Check out our goals:
Provide a place of respite and beauty for those who choose to sit on its benches, take in its abundant beauty and fragrance, or interact with its plants.
Connect garden mentors with learners to explore growing plants in healthy soil using ecologically sound techniques, fostering healthy relationships of mutual respect.
Inspire partnerships with organizations, congregations, and individuals to offer classes on growing, using, enjoying, and appreciating the garden’s crops, products, and ecological lessons.
If you are interested in volunteering to help us open and/or close the garden each year or you would like a plot to grow your own herbs and vegetables, please contact Ellen Stryffeler our Outreach Coordinator at 330-482-5072.
