In conjunction with Project MKC (formerly Making Kids Count), we are able to distribute diapers for struggling parents. Since “safety net” programs don’t help families provide for diapers, individuals with limited resources are often left with the worry of how they can afford to pay for such items. Babies without clean diapers are exposed to more potential health risks & less likely accepted to daycares, leaving parents unable to attend work.
This past year, we were able to meet emergency needs for over 300 children, providing more than 60,000 diapers. This program is not based on any financial need qualifications and families are eligible to receive diapers for two years regardless of the age of the child when you first sign up. We are happy to provide at no-cost incontinence pads, diapers and chucks for adults on a weekly bases as well. |
1 in 3 U.S. families experience diaper need. We want to help change that. |
