What is GLOW?
About Us:
GLOW is a free program developed for Columbiana County girls entering 5th-12th in the fall.
Primary Objective & Goals:
Increase girls' sense of self-esteem, reliance, and expression. We want to be part of the village that raises up a community of strong-minded, confident, independent women.
Through:
Hands on activities, mentorship, group discussion, journaling, art & crafts, utilizing mindfulness strategies and games.
Outcome:
Over the last 3 years we've seen a 70% rate of effectiveness. Meaning 70% of girls self-reported that their self-esteem and self-confidence improved as a by- product of their participation in GLOW.
SEPTEMBER
Girls in grade 5-12 in Columbiana County are invited to join us for our Kick-Off Event on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Destiny House Church!
OCTOBER
We will begin fall programming in October, meeting the 1st Tuesday of each month at First Free Methodist Church 16260 St Clair Avenue, ELO and the 3rd Monday of each month at First United Methodist Church at 200 W. 5th Street, ELO. Both nights we will meet from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
