A year ago we hoped we’d have the funding. We hoped people would want to join. We hoped to help struggling families in our community.

To date, we have worked with ten families and their twenty kids. Eight have gone through the Getting Ahead curriculum (https://www.ahaprocess.com/solutions/community/getting-ahead/) where participants have a chance to take a step back, get access to resources, and approach the challenges of life in a different way. Four participants have met their goals, and four are in the process of doing so.

We are on track to make an even more significant impact on families in our community in this coming year. AND we have a new space to ‘house’ the program. We’ve already received a donation of $20,000 toward a kitchen remodel. We can’t wait to gather around the dining room table with our Pathways families to share meals and stories of individual successes and setbacks, encouraging each other along life’s path.

The Way Station currently has eighty-eight online donors.
